Welcome to Women for Peace, Justice and Climate Action

Women for Peace, Justice and Climate Action (WOPCA)) is a local women led Non Governmental Organization headquartered in Juba, Central Equatorial State, South Sudan. It is a not for profit making non political organization with member drawn from the different constituencies.
Our mission is to support the peace process and justice and fully integrate gender justice across climate change policy. We work to raise awareness, build knowledge and capacity of decision makers, and empower women, youth to develop and implement effective climate protection and adaptation policy, lead and advocate for women and youth social and economic rights, especially for the underserved. Women for Peace, Justice and Climate Action (WOPCA) works with people from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds to promote women’s rights and well-being at all levels – from the grassroots to the national and regional levels.
