The education thematic work aims to support Community Based, inclusive education through innovative approaches to strengthen access, transition, retention and quality of education with the objective of improving learning outcomes for primary, secondary, tertiary and out-of-school
youth. The mission of Women for Peace, Justice and Climate Action (WOPCA) is to empower individuals, communities, and local actors, primarily in rural areas and informal urban settlements, with particular focus on women, girls, boys, and vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, so that they may participate fully in society and influence their development.
The approach will also focus on strengthen education policies to further improve educational interventions and increase national capacities.


Our key priorities:

  • Children and youth, particularly the most marginalized and vulnerable, have increased access to quality education
  • and youth gain literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills that are critical for future learning
  •  Gain skills they need to lead productive lives, gain employment, and positively contribute to their communities.
